Crafty Quantities is operated by Rodney Lee ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.
The site estimates material quantities, indicative costs and preparation steps for DIY building jobs, and offers a photo-based site check. All outputs are estimates to help you plan. They are not professional advice, structural calculations or fixed quotes. Always confirm quantities, prices and methods with your supplier and, where needed, a qualified tradesperson before starting work.
Shopping-list prices are researched UK trade prices adjusted for your region, with the research date shown. Prices change and vary by merchant, so treat every total as indicative. Tradespeople listed on the quote page list themselves and are not vetted, endorsed or employed by us — check their reviews, insurance and qualifications before hiring.
Pro costs £7.00 per month. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial: you enter your card when you start the trial, nothing is charged for 7 days, then £7.00 is taken automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your dashboard or the pricing page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are processed by Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Keep your sign-in details private. Photos you upload are used to produce your site check; don't upload images of other people without their permission. Saved projects remain yours — without Pro you can still open them, but progress tracking and exports stay locked.
If you list a business, you must provide accurate details and keep them up to date. We may remove listings that are misleading, abusive or unlawful.
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, infringing content, malware, security probing, scraping or attempts to bypass account limits. Rodney Lee owns the software, documentation and branding. You retain rights to your photos and project inputs and permit their processing only to provide your results. You are responsible for having the right to submit them and for verifying AI outputs before acting on them. Do not submit illegal content, deceptive deepfakes or hateful material or try to circumvent safety checks. We may remove infringing content, refuse unsafe outputs or suspend access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or repeated violations. Rights holders can report infringement through the support channel on their purchase receipt.
We provide the service with reasonable care but can't guarantee it is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from relying on estimates, from work carried out based on them, or from tradespeople found through the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
